So this week was good, we had zone conference on Wednesday where we talked about aiming at the center, we talked about how to better help our investigators understand the Gospel, and our message, and how to help investigators set goals and keep commitments. It was a great zone conference. Our mission President gave us a talk called "Becoming a consecrated missionary" by Tad R. Callister. We researched it and highlighted parts of it for about a week. Then at zone conference he picked 4 missionaries to go up and give a summary about it. Thankfully I didn't get called to go up, but the missionaries who did gave some great insights. We have already seen miracles happen in the zone with the number of investigators at sacrament we had yesterday.
Our mission President also gave us a challenge as housemates to finish the Book of Mormon in 4.5 months. If we each read 1 page each for a total of four pages a day, we can do it. this means you can read the Book of Mormon about 3 times a year! It's that simple! I challenge you to do this in your homes as families as well.
So you all remember that Nanay I told you about that got hit by a motorcycle? Well, she's starting to do a little bit better now. We visited their family Sunday morning and talked with them for a bit. We gave nanay a blessing, afterwards she told us that she wants to be baptized together with her grandson on the 31st. We are pretty excited for them. Nanay Maria Fe said she should be healthy enough to go to church next Sunday.
We weren't able to teach the Orgente family last week. They also didn't come to church. I hope we'll be able to teach them this week!
Well, take care minamahal kong kapatid! You guys are great!
