I hope you had a good thanksgiving, cause I sure did! Thanksgiving isn't a thing in the Philippines, but I'm guessing it's probably because they are too busy doing it EVERY SINGLE DAY!! Seriously these people are so humble. I can see how much Heavenly Father loves his children in the Philippines.
This week was pretty good. We were supposed to have a baptism on Saturday and turn a part member family into an all member family but the mom was sick and wouldn't have been able to attend, so we pushed it back until next week.
This scripture has been the theme to my week.
Col. 3:15 "And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful."
I like how it says the word rule. This word means "to be a dominant or powerful factor." If we let the peace of God rule in our hearts, it will leave no room or place for negativity. If we let the peace and love of God rule in our hearts, the unnecessary things of the world will have no way to affect us. We will look at our brothers and sisters as who they truly are; as children of God. Let us focus on what we have and be grateful. We are honestly so blessed!
